Important Note: The Rack and Pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As you increase the tire diameter and/or decrease the wheel backspacing the more sensitive the system becomes and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy. It Fits factory air ride-equipped trucks only. The factory air ride is a closed-loop system. Opening the system more times than recommended in the lift instructions or factory service manual will require the system to be recharged. This can be done at any Ram dealer service department. Stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with factory-sized tires only. Stock 17" and 18" wheels will not fit. This kit will bolt on Eco-Diesel models but it will require an aftermarket front drive shaft. (Not supplied by BDS)
